Shapes

Gobos, or Goes Before Optics. Shapes, patterns, logos. We use light and the obstruction of light to create recognizable shapes. These shapes represent something symbolic.

This recognition is based on experience and what we've been trained to believe, and is meant to evoke thought and emotion.

The logo on the wall in the auditorium made it clear that this wasn't about a fruit, but about shiny computers. It is impressive how we, living in this day and age, have been trained to recognize this.
