Signs

These neon signs represent Minami, Osaka, Japan. I visited the Dotonbori canal September 6, 2009, and watched as the Glico man ran and the Asahi beer was continually consumed and refilled. Which looks better, the natural light during the day or the lights that come on at night? What about a combination of both in the evening?These photographs made me think about how we would use light in an outdoor setting.
